What's included

A weight loss clinic program, not a prescription by mail.

GoWell's medical weight loss program is physician-supervised from the first visit. Medication — including GLP-1 weight loss injections, when appropriate — is one part of the plan. Clients find our weight loss clinic from across Broward, and every plan starts with a consultation, not a prescription.

  • Physician-supervised care

Your plan is overseen by our Medical Director, Micah Craig, MD, and delivered by licensed providers at our Coral Springs clinic.

  • Bloodwork

Labs help your provider assess safety and choose a suitable treatment.

  • Body composition analysis

Track fat, muscle and water, not just the number on the scale.

  • Weekly in-person follow-ups

Check progress, side effects and dose with your provider every week.

  • Nutrition and lifestyle guidance

Practical, sustainable advice you can use between visits.

GLP-1 treatment

Where GLP-1 medication fits.

GLP-1 medications act on hormones involved in appetite and blood sugar. In our GLP-1 weight loss program they work alongside nutrition guidance, body composition tracking and weekly check-ins, so your provider can adjust your plan as you go.

Semaglutide is a weekly injection that acts on the GLP-1 receptor. Learn about semaglutide at GoWell.

Tirzepatide is a weekly injection that acts on both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors. Learn about tirzepatide at GoWell.

Choosing a treatment. Your provider looks at your health history, current medications, bloodwork and goals to decide whether weight loss injections are appropriate and which option suits you. Medication isn't right for everyone, and you'll get a straight answer at your consultation.

Your first appointment

What happens at your first visit.

We talk through your goals and health history, arrange bloodwork and complete a body composition analysis. Once your labs are reviewed, your provider explains your options and builds your plan.

Ongoing care

Weekly follow-up, adjusted as you go.

Each week your provider reviews your progress, side effects and next steps in person. Plans for continuing or changing treatment are discussed with you at these visits.

Loved by GoWell clients

Five-star experiences.

★★★★★

“I've been coming to GoWell for about 3 months for their weight loss program and Gisselle has been my nurse. What I like most is that she actually remembers what we talked about the week before. When I was having some nausea early on, she went over what I was eating and gave me a few suggestions that really helped. She never made me feel bad if I had a rough week.”

Monique G.

★★★★★

“Gisselle did my first appointment and went through my weight, body composition results and what I wanted to accomplish. I was honestly embarrassed about my weight when I came in, but she never made me feel uncomfortable about it. My clothes are fitting much better. Still have a ways to go, but I'm finally seeing progress.”

Danielle R.

★★★★★

“Gisselle is the reason I've stayed consistent with this program. The biggest difference for me has been having someone keep me accountable. When my weight barely moved for almost two weeks, she pulled up my previous numbers and told me to look at the overall progress instead of one or two weigh-ins. She was right. Really appreciate her patience with me.”

Questions

Medical weight loss questions, answered.

Which weight loss program is right for me?

Your clinician reviews your health history, bloodwork, goals and treatment response before recommending a medication. Compare the weekly program and compare the dual-action program before your consultation.

What happens at my first visit?

We'll talk through your goals and health history, arrange bloodwork and review body composition before choosing a plan.

How often are follow-ups?

Your provider checks in weekly to discuss your progress, side effects and next steps.

How much does the program cost?

Weekly weight loss programs start at $75 a week; dual-action programs start at $85 a week. Medication and dose determine your plan's price.

What is GLP-1 treatment?

GLP-1 medications act on hormones involved in appetite and blood sugar. At GoWell they are one part of a supervised program that also includes bloodwork, body composition analysis, weekly follow-ups and nutrition guidance.

What is the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?

Semaglutide acts on the GLP-1 receptor. Tirzepatide acts on both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors. Both are weekly injections, and your provider recommends one based on your history and labs. Read more on our semaglutide page and tirzepatide page.

Am I a candidate for weight loss injections?

Not everyone is. Your provider reviews your health history, current medications and bloodwork before recommending any medication, and will tell you if a medication isn't right for you.
