How much weight can I lose on semaglutide?
In clinical trials adults lost an average of about 15% of body weight over 68 weeks. Most GoWell clients notice appetite change in the first two weeks and measurable loss by week 8–12. Results depend on dose, consistency, nutrition and activity.
Who qualifies for semaglutide?
Adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol or prediabetes. Our physician reviews your bloodwork and health history before prescribing.
What are the side effects?
Nausea, constipation, diarrhea and reduced appetite are the most common, usually mild and most noticeable in the first weeks or after a dose increase. Serious side effects are rare; we screen for risk factors first and check in every week.
