Dermaplaning.
Dermaplaning at GoWell is an add-on performed during a facial, not a standalone appointment. Your esthetician uses a sterile blade to remove the surface layer of dead skin and fine vellus hair before the rest of your facial, so products applied afterwards reach the skin more evenly. It is $50 added to any facial on our menu.
Your consultation.
Tell your esthetician about active breakouts, recent peels or resurfacing, and any skin sensitivity. Dermaplaning is skipped if your skin isn't suited to it that day.
Preparation and aftercare.
Arrive with clean skin. Afterwards, use the moisturiser and SPF your esthetician recommends and avoid exfoliating products for a few days.
Your visit.
During your facial
Book the facial you want, and ask for dermaplaning when you reserve or at the start of your appointment. It adds about 15 minutes to the facial.
